Renee Woods, MD
Services: Women's Health, Gynecology, Surgery, practices in both Chelan Hospital and LCCH Wenatchee outreach clinic Professional Experience: Dr. Woods opened a private practice at Baylor University Medical Center. Then, after several years, she joined a large corporate group of physicians and had another very successful practice where she treated patients at nine Dallas area hospitals. Dr. Woods moved to Wenatchee in 2000 to practice at Central Washington Hospital. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology, as well as a member of the American Medical Association and Washington State Medical Association. Education: Dr. Woods graduated with a degree in chemistry from Texas Christian University before finishing medical school at the University of Texas Heath Sciences Center at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. She was also one of the first women physicians to complete an internship and residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Personal Information: She enjoys spending time with her two children, cooking, baking, singing and being involved in her church. "My spiritual life is a big part of who I am as both a woman and a doctor," she said, "and caring for my patients is very meaningful to me."
