Featured Homes

Mill Bay Lakeside Dream
Bob Beckett & Marilyn Sargent
235 Wall Street, Manson

This "Contemporary Lodge" waterfront home reflects the owners' youthful memories of sun-drenched Lake Chelan summers. "Defensive decorating," including easy-care travertine floors, was used to stand up to rigors of two active boys and a dog. Hansa Murano glass faucets and a lighted, honey onyx countertop adorn the powder room. The home's focal point is a Montana slate fireplace with a fir mantel and hearth made from 300-year-old timbers reclaimed from the old Fisher flourmill. Outside are two outdoor patios, one for sun and one for shade. The front patio's custom steel gate, depicting the home's mountain view, opens to an outdoor slate fountain with a replica of a painting by Ferdinand Hodler, which reminded the owners of Lake Chelan. The rear patio features expansive stonework, outdoor shower and instant-on fire pit.

Rustic Elegance at Bear Mountain
Chris & Lynda Kennedy
210 Bandera Way, Chelan

This high desert ranch style home above the 7th green at Bear Mountain Ranch has sweeping views of Lake Chelan, nearby vineyards and the mountains beyond. A dramatic entry gate opens to 1,500 square feet of outdoor living space with grapevine embellished stamped concrete, a water feature and stucco wall. Inside the home, you will find two master suites, 24-foot-high tongue and groove pine ceilings, wood floors and four sets of French doors that blur the line between inside and outside. The fireplace mantel, hearth and all countertops are poured concrete. The kitchen features a slate backsplash with art design, stainless steel appliances and knotty alder cabinets.

Family Lodge Retreat
Bill & Marilyn Lilly
365 Highpoint Lane, Chelan

The Lillys found a retreat where family could come together and enjoy the many amenities of life at Lake Chelan. Its interior is enhanced by 30-foot vaulted ceilings, a catwalk and an expansive use of glass. Three master suites, a sleeping dorm and game loft for grandkids, separate guest bedroom and two additional bathrooms provide the perfect haven for extended family. The beautiful stone fireplace in the Great Room and the spacious center island in the granite-tiled kitchen serve as gathering places. On the home's 2.5 acres, a flagstone infinity pool and built-in hot tub are situated to take advantage of spacious views. This is truly a home built with entertainment in mind.

Clos CheValle Vineyard Living
Andy & Patti Precht
130 La Collina Lane, Chelan

This remarkable 4,300 square foot classical villa is situated on a mountaintop affording the owners a 360 degree view of Lake Chelan and surrounding vineyards. The home's golden yellow patina was inspired by the sunny and colorful Mediterranean. Italian accents were created through tile paintings, molded stone fireplaces, classical columns, arches and wrought iron railings. The kitchen features a separate island complete with gas cook-top and endless granite countertops. The private outside lanai stretches across the back of the home, where the classical columns and arches are repeated and adjoin vast flagstone hardscapes.

The Highlands Hilltop Haven
Jack & Judy Shaw
146 Crest Drive, Chelan

Stucco, terra cotta tile and columns emphasize the Santa Barbara architecture in this 3,000 square foot, three-bedroom hilltop haven. Floor to ceiling windows bring the outside indoors. Heated flagstone floors, cherry cabinets, rich wall patinas and ledger lighting all provide a warm, inviting atmosphere. The only stairs lead to a fabulous wine cellar that holds a vast wine collection shared with family and friends. The outside boasts a pool, a built-in barbeque center and Judy's fabulous vegetable garden. At sunset, 65 lights enhance hundreds of trees, shrubs and massive landscape rocks, which were obtained on site from the building of the Highlands subdivision. The men will enjoy Jack's 1,200 square foot "toy" room - an outbuilding that houses the Shaws' toys and tools.

Art Sale
This year, 31 artists from around the Northwest will donate 25 percent of their sales toward LCCH Guild B's project. There will be paintings in a variety of media, pottery, jewelry, glass art, wood carvings, metal art, photography, floral designs and felt bags.

Diane Paton-Peel
Diane's sweeping landscapes of the Northwest's mountains and vineyards, and the wildflower Fireweed are exclusively rendered in oils.  So are her dramatic and lush floral paintings. Born in Seattle, Washington, Diane spent her early years attending the one room log school house in Stehekin, WA, at the head of Lake Chelan.  She lived many years in Whitehorse, Yukon, where her greatest inspirations came from the colorful fields of Fireweed and the Northern Lights. Diane's work is available in original oil, limited edition prints, and art cards.

Michael Keller
Michael's carvings unveil a unique story within each piece of wood, ranging from simple to complex, as found in the grandness of nature and legend. He has a reverence for wood; its texture, fragrance, and natural color exemplify the
beauty found in and of the earth.  At White Eagle Studios in the mountains overlooking Chelan, he works to unveil the unique story within each piece of wood, creating a legacy for future generations to enjoy.
Nancy Culliton
Nancy's art is titled "western style items" and includes handmade cowhide, suede and fabric pillows, photo albums, eyeglass cases and microfiber wine bottle bags. the pillows have western-style accents, like a child's cowboy belt buckle. Nancy is a regular at the Wednesday and Saturday Manson Farmers Market.
Anne Clausen
Anne paints in watercolor. She enjoys creating scenes that give Lake Chelan its defining character. During the summer months, Anne’s focus turns to watercolor paintings of area homes and properties.  Working on location or from photographs, Anne has painted scenes from up and down our valley.  Her paintings can be found in the homes of both local and seasonal residents.  Anne’s work is on display at Main Street Gallery in Lake Chelan.
