What is home health?

An individual's own home is often the best place to recuperate or rehabilitate. The comfort of familiar people and surroundings promote healing. In addition, today's economic environment often means minimizing medical costs by shortening hospital stays and encouraging individuals to use outpatient surgery when available.

Because people recuperating at home may have complicated conditions that require medical supervision, we offer Home Health Services to bridge the gap between the hospital and full recovery.

Home Health Services also provides medical services for homebound or elderly individuals who wish to remain at home as an alternative to institutionalized care. We also work with family members to teach them necessary skills to ensure the dignity and independence of each individual.

Home Health Services
Quality of life is of primary importance to the Home Health professionals. To best help in recuperation and rehabilitation, the following services are brought to private homes.

  • Skilled Nursing Care - nurses work closely with an individual's physician to meet specific requirements
  • Physical Therapy - treatment designed and implemented for each person's special needs
  • Social Worker - assists in living problems and resolving financial needs
  • Nutritional Services
  • Home Health Aides - aides work in the home under the supervision of a registered nurse, providing personal care services such as bathing
  • 24 Hour Coverage - a nurse is available to assist you regardless of the time of day
